No Magic Words is written and published by Carlos Rodriguez, an independent author in the United States. There is no company behind it and no team. If you email, I’m the one who reads it.

I answer most mail within two business days. If it’s been longer than that, assume the message didn’t arrive rather than that I ignored it, and send it again — this domain’s mail routes through a forwarder, and forwarders drop things.

What’s worth emailing about

What I can’t do

I can’t review your setup, debug your prompts, or tell you which tool to buy. Not a policy — I’d just be guessing about a situation I can’t see, and the whole argument of the book is against confident answers from someone who hasn’t checked. The tool-evaluation worksheet in the pack is the honest version of that help: a procedure you run on your own situation, rather than my opinion about it.

I’m also not able to give you legal, financial, or employment advice about using AI at your job. Your employer’s policy governs, not mine.

The disclosure, since you’re here

The book and the posts on this site were written with AI. The research, drafting, and revision were done by a language model working from direction; I directed, verified and edited. That’s stated on the work itself rather than buried on a policy page, and the corrections page exists because a process that claims to catch its own errors has to show the ones it caught.
